God is Omnipotent (All-powerful)

God is Omnipotent (All-powerful): God has power. Since God is also infinite, whatever He has must be without limit; therefore, God has limitless power.

 17 “Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. 18 You show love to thousands but bring the punishment for the parents’ sins into the laps of their children after them. Great and mighty God, whose name is the LORD Almighty, 19 great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds. Your eyes are open to the ways of all mankind; you reward each person according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve. 20 You performed signs and wonders in Egypt and have continued them to this day, in Israel and among all mankind, and have gained the renown that is still yours. 21 You brought your people Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with great terror. 22 You gave them this land you had sworn to give their ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey. 23 They came in and took possession of it, but they did not obey you or follow your law; they did not do what you commanded them to do. So you brought all this disaster on them.
 24 “See how the siege ramps are built up to take the city. Because of the sword, famine and plague, the city will be given into the hands of the Babylonians who are attacking it. What you said has happened, as you now see. 25 And though the city will be given into the hands of the Babylonians, you, Sovereign LORD, say to me, ‘Buy the field with silver and have the transaction witnessed.’”

 26 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: 27 “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:17 – 27)

 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)

How did David become a mighty man?  2 Samuel 5:9-11

 9 David then took up residence in the fortress and called it the City of David. He built up the area around it, from the terraces[a] inward. 10 And he became more and more powerful, because the LORD God Almighty was with him.
 11 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent envoys to David, along with cedar logs and carpenters and stonemasons, and they built a palace for David."

The Psalms proclaim that God is Almighty.

 “In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared;
   he is more awesome than all who surround him.
8 Who is like you, LORD God Almighty?
   You, LORD, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you.
 9 You rule over the surging sea;
   when its waves mount up, you still them. (Psalm 89:7-9)

So do the prophets.

Jacob (later named Israel) “… struggled with the angel and overcame him;
   he wept and begged for his favor.
He found him at Bethel
   and talked with him there—
5 the LORD God Almighty,
   the LORD is his name!
6 But you must return to your God;
   maintain love and justice,
   and wait for your God always.”  (Hosea 12:4-6)

14 “Seek good, not evil,
   that you may live.
Then the LORD God Almighty will be with you,
   just as you say he is.
15 Hate evil, love good;
   maintain justice in the courts.
Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy
   on the remnant of Joseph.”  (Amos 5:14-15)

Three great songs proclaim the Lord God Almighty!
